Guitarist is working out label issues, thinking up a name for his band with former Panic! bassist Jon Walker.

Over the past week, Ryan Ross has talked about splitting from Panic! at the Disco and answered questions about that now-infamous cocaine photo. But all he wants to discuss is his new music.
Because, really, the songs he's written with former Panic! bassist Jon Walker were the reason he decided to leave the band in the first place. They were a departure from the glossy pop tunes Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith were working on — they looked backward as opposed to forward, focusing instead on the crackling punch of old Stax Records 45s and the jangly pop of the Kinks — and the difference in musical direction was great enough to send him packing.
That should really tell you all you need to know about Ross' new tunes: He believes in them so much that he's willing to stake his career on them.

It's here! “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has arrived and today our Denise Martin finishes off our daily "Potter" countdown (but not our ongoing Hogwarts coverage, of course). Her interview subject? Here's a hint, he is a key figure and an especially conflicted wizard in the new film.
After years of playing the petulant platinum-blond pest Draco Malfoy, actor Tom Felton couldn't wait to get his hands on the script for the series’ sixth film a sort of coming out party for the aspiring Death Eater. And with good reason. There's plenty for Draco to wrestle with in this edition. With his father, Lucius Malfoy, stuck in Azkaban, young Draco is tapped by Voldemort to use the Unforgivable Curse on the school's headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. And while Felton’s alter ego has been eager to carry out some dark doings in the past, when the big moment arrives Draco instead comes up against the conscience he never knew he had.
Felton, who was heading off to get his hair dyed blond during our chat, told Hero Complex all about growing up Draco, facing off with Michael Gambon’s Dumbledore, and what he and star Daniel Radcliffe really talk about on set.

While I enjoyed the film as a whole (besides the ending), he was the best part of the film imo. Amazing performance. I love it. <3

Eat your heart out, ladies: Channing Tatum is officially off the market – and PEOPLE's got the exclusive wedding photo to prove it.
The hunky G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra star, 29, married his Step Up dance partner Jenna Dewan, 28, on Saturday in Malibu, Calif.
Dressed in a peach-and-ivory Reem Acra couture ball gown, the bride looked dreamily into her Giorgio Armani-suited groom's eyes as they wed. The pair exchanged vows before 220 guests – they included maid of honor Emmanuelle Chriqui and bridesmaid Haylie Duff – at an oceanside estate. Tatum's 12 groomsmen wore Armani tuxedos with evening shirts and black silk neckties.
"I loved working with Jenna. She is so fresh and young," designer Reem Acra said of her client. "Her input on what she envisioned for her gown was essential and I am thrilled to have made her dream wedding gown come true."

Getting started on her latest project, Emma Roberts was spotted arriving on set of “Valentine’s Day” on Tuesday (July 14). Wearing a pair of ballerina shoes, the “Hotel for Dogs” hottie headed over to her trailer to get ready - offering up a wave as she passed by on-set paparazzi.

Most weddings go off without a hitch. But every once in a while, the blessed event gets a surprise twist. This past weekend, NBA star Richard Jefferson's wedding left guests asking a big question: "Where the heck is the groom?"
According to the New York Post, Jefferson was scheduled to marry former New Jersey Nets dancer Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols. Alas, a few days before the big day, Jefferson called off the ceremony and broke up with his fiancée.
Unfortunately, nobody told a significant number of guests. Many showed up at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City expecting to see a bride, a groom, some vows, and a kiss. Instead they found that Jefferson had gone MIA. However, he did lend his friend his AMEX Black credit card and told him to treat the guests to a fun night without him.
The confusion led to some spectacular spikes in Search. Lookups on "richard jefferson wedding" surged 5,687%, and interest in the jilted bride was similarly enthusiastic. Queries on "kesha ni'cole nichols pictures" went from zip into the thousands overnight.
According to various sources from the Buzz, the wedding cost around $2 million. Next time, may we suggest city hall?

Actress Hilary Duff made sure she was a hit with the cast and crew of GOSSIP GIRL when she filmed her cameo appearance on the hit show - she arrived on set with cupcakes.
The 21 year old guest stars as college student Olivia Burke in upcoming episodes of the teen programme, which stars Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester.
Duff wanted to ensure she got on well with her TV colleagues - so she turned up to the New York City shoot armed with baked goods.
A source tells OK! magazine, "She was coming into a tight-knit group; she wanted to get off on the right foot."
The blonde beauty isn't the first actress to win over her castmates with sweet treats - Katie Holmes generously bought cupcakes for the 200-strong cast and crew working on her 2008 movie Mad Money.

Shia LaBeouf: Shirtless Stud
Putting his toned physique on full display, Shia LaBeouf removed his shirt before going for a run near his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 15).
With his hand still braced up, the “Transformers” hunk rocked out to his iPod as he got in a good exercise - working up a sweat as paparazzi followed along.
As for future projects for Mr LaBeouf, the latest rumors tell that he’s the front-runner to play Facebook gazillionaire Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network”.
To be based on Boston writer Ben Mezrich’s new book, “The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal,” which makes its way to bookstores Tuesday.

Most photography studio strobe lights are what they call "slaved," or light-triggered by means of internal sensors; when one of them fires, all of them will fire simultaneously, so you don't have to plug a wire from your camera into all of them during multiple-light set-ups.
NYU Interactive Telecommunication Program student Adam Harvey has harnessed this simple technology to devise a brilliant anti-paparazzi device that goes well beyond Ashton Kutcher's Tweets: A purse with a flash sensor and flash. His clutch purse contains a sensor that is triggered by a flash going off, and it instantaneously fires its own flash, completely ruining paparazzi shots.
Harvey is currently working on the patent and hopes to have the bag ready for sale by Spring 2010.
